weather - At the moment, if I’m reading my Windy app right, the only model that’s verifying right now as I look out the door is the NAM, and that model shows some partial clearing north of I-20 at eclipse time. Cross y’all’s fingers. 😎

Speaking of if you're in and need a buddy, this little tabby kitten was meowing like mad under my house for more than a day before I finally cut a hole in the floor to get him out. He needs a home (I've got too many pets and my cat's a bully to other cats, despite being crazy sweet to everyone else, including dogs). He's super sweet, curious, smart, and took to a litter box immediately. He's very easy going, I haven't heard a peep out of him since I let him in.

Texas lawmakers enable the🔫 gun industry & their lobbyists.

The NRA paid just $5,000 to rent out the Dallas convention center.

Nathan Collins reports the gun group got discounts and subsidies to the tune of $495,000. The city fought to keep these records secret until now, after the convention was over.
