Kompas w telefonie pozwala ustawić kierunek "zgrubnie", warto później sprawdzić wskazania poziomu sygnału w routerze/modemie by "dopieścić" ustawienie kierunku.
@olimex I just got a couple for a project, and was impressed at how versatile this little thing was. What did it for me was the LiPo charging from pretty much any other source of power.
“One upon a midnight dreary
While I posted weak and weak,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore
While I nodded, newly making
Suddenly there came a tapping
As of someone gentle tapping
Tapping so my chamber door.
Tiss some visitors, I listed, tapping at my chamber door.
Only this and nothing more.”
(Eh…kind of weird. Also apparently my autocorrect dislikes the word “rapping”)
2023 was the year I pushed myself back into reading again. I recommend all of these:
The Hyperion series by Dan Simmons.
Kaiju Preservation Society by John @scalzi. Thank you for my autographed edition of Starter Villain - it was the highlight of my Christmas presents and will be the first new book I read in 2024!
A Memory Called Empire and A Desolation called Peace by Arkady Martine @ArkadyMartine
A Mystery of Mysteries: The Death and Life of Edgar Allen #Poe by Mark Dawidziak
The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe
All the Birds in the Sky and The City in the Middle of The Night by Charlie Jane Anders @charliejane
The Sympathizer and The Committed by Viet Thanh Nguyen
The Wager by David Grann
The first three books in The Expanse series (will start with the 4th in the New Year) by James S. A. Corey
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin
@jordinn. It is part of an installation at the #Hirshhorn. Like I said, a friend sent me the picture because of our shared love of #Poe. Here's an article that provides some additional context. I hope I can see it IRL sometime, unsettling as it may be, probably is!
@CindyWeinstein@jordinn Oh I’m so very glad to see this work! I’d say as I’m a 50 year fan of Laurie, it’s just inspiring and pleasing to see her art continues to innovate!
@kkarhan It would be a great idea! But Ethernet is tricky. The closest thing made used the Lantronix XPort. It worked Ok, had its own AT command set (a little obtuse to learn), but it was expensive. And not really customizable. Its possible to put a uC in front of it but that would increase the costs more. So I just shelved it.
Espechally since that #uC is easy to obtain and relatively cheap (compared to a #Pi0 / #Pi0W which were used for the #DreamPi#Dialup adaptor and are still not widely available at #MSRP)...
Vaccine side effects have been mostly fatigue, achiness and sporadic low grade fever but it's overall much milder than my reaction last time. Ain't bodies weird?
Happy 90th birthday to #DebraPaget, the American film, stage, radio and TV actor, born in Denver #OnThisDay. She worked for Robert Siodmak, Joseph L. Mankiewicz and Fritz Lang, among others, but particularly memorable opposite Vincent Price in her last two features, Roger Corman's #TalesOfTerror (1962) and #TheHauntedPalace (1963).
