If we delay this for too long, it will become a technical problem. If we get to that point, it may even be civilization end for us, when we finally get our shit together.

@earthling42, I actually mean "if we get our shit together". If we delay getting our shit together too much, then even when we finally manage to get our shit together, we can’t make it anymore.

If you wait with slamming the breaks until you’re 2 meter away from the wall and you’re going with 120km/h, it doesn’t help you anymore that you understood in the end: you’re still dead, because you have no chance to slow down enough within the 2 meters you have left.
