This column was both painful and exhilarating to write. Painful because it forced me to reconsider long-standing assumptions. And exhilarating for the same reason!
@br00t4c I knew this was going to be Ocean Grove, because it is at the end of the Asbury Park boardwalk so I was aware of the place from little boyhood. In fact we used to eat there.
Why I'm asking #WhitePeople to understand how #BIPOC have to deal with relentless requests for more #EmotionalLabor on almost a daily basis in almost every area of our lives.
We're really exhausted from this. We need more white folks who will take ongoing heavy burdens off our backs. Start having those difficult #conversations with your fellow white folks & understand genuine #AntiRacism work requires #courage to talk to & #educate the white folks in your circles.

@armerpunkt Not really sure what the full plans are right now. We just want to fully host things ourselves so that we have full control over everything and can expand things at a likely cheaper price if/when needed.
We want to be able to change things like max character length for posts, max options for polls and stuff like that.
So we're looking for someone that can and will help us maintain it as Kyle doesn't have all the time to do so.
@cliffwade@armerpunkt Sorry, yesterday was one hell of a day. But as Cliff mentioned, we just want to self host to have better control of the features. I’d like to have another person on hand that can help when I’m not available.
