@beardedtechguy and myself are looking for someone to help us grow #AllThingsTech in every way possible. This includes our blog, our instance, our wiki, our Discord and our community in general.
We're looking for someone that is super active here on Mastodon and will continue to do so going forward.
We're looking for someone that is willing to talk about the instance, advertise the instance and recruit for the instance if possible. (cont...)
@armerpunkt Not really sure what the full plans are right now. We just want to fully host things ourselves so that we have full control over everything and can expand things at a likely cheaper price if/when needed.
We want to be able to change things like max character length for posts, max options for polls and stuff like that.
So we're looking for someone that can and will help us maintain it as Kyle doesn't have all the time to do so.
@cliffwade@armerpunkt Sorry, yesterday was one hell of a day. But as Cliff mentioned, we just want to self host to have better control of the features. I’d like to have another person on hand that can help when I’m not available.
We have looked at hetzner, but we have our other properties on DO.
@gnulinux Jaaa, voll genial! 💓
In exactly ONE MONTH from today, DevConf.CZ 2024 will kick off and our amazing #community of #opensource enthusiasts will get together at FIT BUT. We're so excited! 🤩
Are you ready to #DefineFuture with us? Have you secured your spot yet?
I've heard before "the Elementary OS community is small but very active/engaging". Where is that community? The official website links to Reddit and Slack. I don't feel like visiting Reddit regularly. To be able to join Slack I need a Gmail or Apple email, or an Elementary domain email.
A huge thank you for whose have supported The Gamer's Tavern this month on Ko-Fi 🍻!
In matter of transparency, I've posted a detailed report of The Gamer's Tavern's monthly costs and services here: https://ko-fi.com/the_gamers_tavern
Thank you :drac_heart:
Aside from the monetary stuff, The Gamer's Tavern is a cozy place because it's full of amazing people...you. I'm so lucky for our path to have crossed 😊
What's that quote about not doubting that a handful of committed people can change things for the better? Maybe this isn't affecting the entire world, but it sure is affecting this corner of it, and hopefully it's inspirational to other municipalities and regions across #Canada
We're climbing the rankings a little but we need your help!
This vote will help a #community#orchestra put on our Christmas concert and share our love of #music. NULCO have been more than happy to adapt to my #disability needs by, eg, carrying my things and making sure I have a lift.
Really, they've been a lifeline during a time when I've been able to do very little. It's super important to me that we can keep doing that for all our members.
Beautiful evening at the community woodland. Such lovely people planning brilliant activities for the young and young at heart outdoors and in nature. #ClimateDiary#Woodland#community
Yeah. I could talk about this for a long time. One thing for kids to understand is that many places claim to be agile when being anything but.
Always fall back on the manifesto and its principles. You will find it is pro labour, pro team and expects servant leadership. Less common than you’d think 😃
Hohl highlights the difference between “doing agile” and “being agile” and explains that “being agile means that the individual, the team, and the organization have changed”.
