What is the difference between Mastodon, Calckey, Bluesky, and (soon) Barcelona? In other words explaining the layers of the Fediverse--Protocol, platform, client, fork, and plug in. I think people don't know enough to ask this yet, but it will preclude a lot of future questions.

Also you may want to put it under "more info" because it's not something you strictly need to know to function, but if you are at all curious beyond the basic "where do I sign up," that explanation will give you a basket for more information. I like to say if you give someone info, you need to make sure they have a basket to keep it in or it will slip through their fingers and be forgotten.
@stefan Stefan, thanks for putting this together. One of the things I wish I had better understood early on is how to use followed hashtags to refine the content in my timelines. That really helped me find accounts to follow and start interacting in the community. I see you're focusing on the fediverse in general, so I know it works a bit differently across platforms (Calckey = Antennas, for example)
