@dansup Yo as someone who joined fediverse a few days ago, can you give me some very general tips on how it works?

Don't worry, I know it isn't just Mastodon. I'm not that clueless 😂.

Also a little bit about pixelfed too if you don't mind. Just what's special about it compared to other instances

Mostly replying cause I want interaction and people to meet. Absolutely love that Mastodon has a public timeline which isn't just weird and sad algorithmic curation
