@GottaLaff I asked my GP about getting RSV and she said I’m not of age yet and my insurance probably wouldn’t cover it due to my age. I do generally like to get everything I’m eligible for on schedule.
I’ve also never stopped masking.
I’ve actually had a person who has a PhD (in biology no less) try to tell me masking “doesn’t help” due to the size of the virus, as if COVID is transmitted through the “ether” and not via respiratory droplets. [sigh].
Thankfully this person, who’s beyond delusional, does not work anywhere near the scientific or academic fields.

I get my Old Lady Flu shot Wednesday. Got the RSV a couple of weeks ago. I'm waiting a bit to see if the Novavax will be available soon. I will get one of them ASAP, but like what I have read about the Novavax.
@GottaLaff I’m planning on it! It will be my 6th COVID vaccine. I’m grateful that science is working hard to protect us. Masks with a good seal are just as important.
@GottaLaff Got flu vax two weeks ago. Got RSV one week ago. Awaiting the latest COVID one, which I am told should be available in my area first week of October.
BTW, Covid and the flue can be done in one go and some studies showed that at least one(?) sometimes even reinforced the other (what I did last year.)
Did you get the RSV shot at the same time, too, a "triple shot," so to speak?

Covid-19 seems to be the most pressing one (looking at San Francisco, for instance.)
@HistoPol I’m not sure what you’re reading. There have been 7 (by my count) COVID shots. But the originals are obsolete, and the current one has taken its place. Please ask a dr. Who you trust.
@samhainnight The other day, they said it would be 10 days, but now it may be different. I went to CVS. I always go to Costco, but we’re going on a trip and I needed mine asap

I got flu & RSV on Friday (new Covid wasn’t available in my area). Pharmacist told me to wait a week or two before getting the Covid. 🫤
I’m gonna check on that; maybe I can get sooner.
@GottaLaff Yay! My COVID update is scheduled for the 30th. Had to wait for a Pfizer opening since Moderna really kicks my ass for some reason. Will do flu + RSV in early Oct.
@GottaLaff 👍 Yep, I’m in. Earlier today, I confirmed my appointment for this coming Friday at 5:00 PM. Pharmacist raised an eyebrow when I booked COVID, flu, RSV, and pneumonia all at once! She said, “Yes, you can. People do it (all 4 at once), but you’re not going to feel very good.”
Which is exactly why my plan for next weekend is… 🥁…nada t’ing. 😹
@GottaLaff I could have scheduled 4 but just did 3, #flu and #RSV in one arm, the newest #COVID vaccine in the other. You can check the prescription information under NDC number to be sure which one you got.

Had a Tdap booster last week. Looking at October sometime for the others, to try and maximize the vaccines' effectiveness over some of the the most active months for the diseases. It's like playing poker with germs. It's a lousy game.
