We totally ran out of candy by 7:30, and I had bought a whole case. One little boy was dressed as a triceratops, and he was so excited there was another Dinosaur, he didn't want to leave. Several of the smaller kids were a little scared at first, but warmed up to him eventually. One adorable little princess wanted to give him a hug, and so then they all did. The older kids thought he was an animatronic, so he got some really good jump scares out of them. Totally jealous I didn't get a Dinosaur mask too!
@RickiTarr This is charming. Next year add a neck gaiter, green, gray, camo, or snake print.

This is hysterical, and makes me want to visit.
@RickiTarr we never got trick or treaters at our old place so last year we were happy to be in a house in a neighborhood with kids around.
Stocked up on candy and waited.
Not. One. Kid.
I think they decided they could cover more ground in the flatlands.
This year we drove to my sister's place to see her kids in costume. Much more fun.

We had about 40 little visitors, in spite of the cold. A first batch of 5 wee ones right at 6, and then nobody for half an hour. We were afraid that was gonna be it but then bunches of em came by after it got dark. And then it was done by 7:15. 6 pieces of candy left.
