Hercules. Hardly matters, it wouldn’t have been any better that way. Healthy lions are much more dangerous.

@dgar one of my cats, Billy, liked chasing treats across a slippy wooden floor (often crashing into the furniture/walls in the process). We realised we could fool him with a tablet - treat, treat, treat, tablet, treat - he was usually so fixated on catching the ‘treat’ that he wouldn’t notice that one tasted funny until it was too late. Only worked with Billy. With the others, much of our blood was shed.

Good morning and Thank you so much, so glad I'd put my cuppa down before I saw this!!
I dread visiting the vet and them telling me, one tablet three times a day, I'm lucky if the cat gets one tablet, the rest may as well go straight in the bin!!
@dgar I have to do this twice a day. I've found immediate reward with the junkiest of cat treats works well. He still fights the pill a bit by trying to spit it out, but he'll sit and beg for the administration just to get the treat. He only ever gets treats for suffering horrors like pills, grooming, or nail clipping, but over time he's come to see it's worth it.
