violent intimidation?
To choose #Trump over #Biden due to age (or really, anything) would be folly.
But to think Biden's age is a political weakness is an honest opinion. He shouldn't have run. People want a younger president not simply from a mental and physical perspective, but from a perspective of generational zeitgeist.
The Dems have my vote. I hope next time they try to get my enthusiasm, too.
@emptywheel yes, thanks for pointing this out. Part of the reason dems go along with republican talking points like age is that is the only content they see put put out by MSM, including MSNBC. All of MSM covers democratic ideas only in response to whatever Trump or conservatives said or did that day. It should be the other way around. That MSM doesn't cover Biden and dem talking points as stand alone ideas for repubs to respond to highlights how conservative MSM really is. #Biden#MSNBC
@emptywheel To me it feels like living in an echo chamber. One person mentions Biden's age. The press pick up on it & express an "opinion." The R's & D's start talking about it because the press have mentioned it. Then the media start talking about why everyone is talking about Biden's age. A narrative they started & everyone fell for. It's exhausting.
