The price of fealty. You'd think people might recognize the pattern of what happens to EVERYONE who goes to work with Trump before jumping in. The trail of broken lives and careers he leaves is endless.
@GottaLaff Edited for clarity: True sometimes. In Canada we have a in our Charter of Rights, section 11, "a right to a fair trial and trial within a reasonable time", not the US? ( I can't remember, it's been too long).
There have been cases thrown out of court because it took too long. Recently, due to a shortage of judges many cases were tossed. (The shortage is being addressed now.)
@GottaLaff Very heavy on the inequality among defendants. We have the same problem here in Canada. Wealthy can hire great lawyers and the poor are screwed.
@Snowshadow@GottaLaff Our 6th Amendment gives us the right to a speedy trial. The right is for the defendant so that the govt can’t detain them indefinitely AND for the public so that we get justice. However, if you are a powerful person and/or a wealthy one, you can do what Bannon, Navarro, Trump etc are doing which is appeal, appeal, appeal, file motion upon motion upon motion and lengthen the process.

@GottaLaff Navarro, not to be confused with Cactus Jack, initially said that he would "fail to comply." Now that he's been sentenced to jail time, let's see if this fool hardy mentality of his holds true.
