Might be wrong here, but seems like this may be a bigger deal than a clerical error as is being widely reported:

It may be that the bond company didn't report their financials because they have insufficient collateral to secure a bond of this magnitude. In which case the bond is no good, Trump doesn't have a bond, and he is out of time.

Let's see how this gets resolved...

@Snowshadow @GottaLaff Our 6th Amendment gives us the right to a speedy trial. The right is for the defendant so that the govt can’t detain them indefinitely AND for the public so that we get justice. However, if you are a powerful person and/or a wealthy one, you can do what Bannon, Navarro, Trump etc are doing which is appeal, appeal, appeal, file motion upon motion upon motion and lengthen the process.

When others validate that, it keeps me going when some of the more irritating elements of Mastodon make me want to walk away.

@andrew @LorrieW So sorry to hear about the migraines. Have you spoken to an allergist or been tested? The women in my family struggle with migraines and we’ve found that Excedrin is the best otc pain reliever for us. It often stops them before they become debilitating.

This speaks volumes about our corrupted system, the IRS should’ve launched an investigation at the time it was disclosed that SCJ Thomas had been given lavish gifts. It’s possible the agency started an inquiry, but if they had, there would’ve been a report by now.     The important thing about finding beauty in ruins isn't showing off where you've been or what a daredevil you are. It's not about being cool, to me at least.

    It's the tacit acknowledgement that "functional" isn't the only normal state, that normalcy is in fact itself an illusion. Places are scarred by what they endure. So are people.

    They are still worthy of love. Forgotten, silent, unacknowledged though they may be. Even with the scars, perhaps because of them. We still deserve understanding
