@RickiTarr Seriously though and it’s always like for the professions that have uniforms/dress code. Maybe that’s it! they feel left out they can’t wear uniforms too!!
@HunkThunderzone@RickiTarr Don’t fuck with a man who owns a gun, drinks whiskey, works a construction job and was born in the 80’s
(imagine this is in various fonts & sizes)
@erik@RickiTarr I always kind of read that a bit condescendingly. I mean, "I am a proud wife to an engineer" sounds like she's happy she managed to get him to wear pants this morning.
proud boy on the other hand sounds like being proud is everything they managed so far. which I guess is a pretty good description.
@RickiTarr@Sir_Osis_of_Liver i could never figure out the point of mandatory military service and in return they felt i could demoralize my unit and let me go
I've dealt with these owives. "No ma'am, I only salute owives whose husbands are O-5 and above... seriously, go ask your husband... division policy, ask the S3"
@RickiTarr@Waitnwallflower How about an AI-spammed t-shirt that reads: "It only took me 5 years to train the stupid out of my husband. What's taking you so long?"
@RickiTarr@Waitnwallflower I would need one that says, "proud husband of a director of--actually you know what there's a lot of things in her job description and she does a whole lot more that her title doesn't even capture--can I just email you later?"
@RickiTarr I also don't understand why they wear them. It's almost as if the wives need a constant reminder to be proud of their husband's jobs. Maybe that's why they wear them??
@RickiTarr ugh. i was always sickened by the women getting MRS degrees; not they have the privilege of a college education, but only as a stepping stone to a high earning husband. then they do little with their degree.
