@GottaLaff
I think there is a solution but I never looked at doing it international.
I went traveling for a year through the US but my prescriptions had to be done in California. So I subscribed to postscan which did mail collection, forwarding and scanning. It was like ten or fifteen dollars a month. I could have them scan things that looked important or forward things like prescriptions.
There are several different companies doing the same thing and they use places like office max to the small little local mailbox places. You can set it up on your current town or the nearest one to you across the border.
@GottaLaff read all 3 chapters. Throughly enjoyed. Was moved. 🥹. Feel happy for you. Am lovingly jealous. And selfishly, am grateful to know your participation here won’t change. Be well. Be peaceful. Be happy. Hugs to Hammy. Love to the boys and the Mr.

It's a little harsher the closer to East Coast you get. I've relatives in Northern BC. Oh, did I mention I'm biased to Ontario.
@GottaLaff Having moved to a new country, I know all too well the planning needed. The first few weeks will be glorious but then those unanticipated things will happen. Trust me, it will be an adventure.
@GottaLaff we're happy, excited, and apprehensive for you and your family (including the pup, of course!). Also quite envious. Can relate to everything you said and felt in Part 1. We aren't known or famous, so we have no personal fear but fear for our country and democracy. You're smart and have it all together (as Part 3 details) so should be smooth sailing. We wish you all the very best. Have to remember, you're not leaving us, just changing venues!
@GottaLaff :(. Many towns just on the US side of the border have post box businesses. They are mainly used for people buying stuff from vendors who won't ship to Canada, but I bet you could rent an address in Blane or somewhere and drive down to pick up your mail every once in a while.
