#artemis#artemisapp is just throwing a blank screen when I start it up - no options to logout and back in, or anything apart from uninstalling really. Anyone else with the same issue?
Regarding:
"do you know if there's a phone app for it yet? I messed around with it back in the Spring but I primarily used reddit on my phone so I haven't really gone back"
I haven't tried it myself yet, but I've seen people talk about:
Microblogs are an interesting thing. I was never able to get into Twitter or Mastodon because it feels so disorganized and chaotic to me. That said, I think microblog compatibility is low key one of Kbin’s best features with a lot of potential. The problem is that right now it seems like kbin doesn’t really know what to do...
I am still not sure how mastodon and all this works, but I am very excited to have been able to join and pursue our dream of putting taco trucks on every corner!
This brings me to my next question: where is @Crawfish? I am active in @Neoliberal, and we are looking for our fearless moderator to help us as the magazine/community grows. They mentioned they were active/lurking on mastodo.neoliber.al in one of their posts.
Lol Thank you! We are working to keep content flowing and to grow the community! I really think it & #kbin have potential, especially once the #artemisapp is fully up and running.
Who do I follow for up to date info on the #artemisapp
I know the creator of the app is called Harriet/Harriette. But I can't find her fediverse username 🤔
#ArtemisApp is cool, I’m already enjoying it even though it’s still incomplete. Hoping to see #Lemmy support soon as Kbin doesn’t seem to support pinned posts on Lemmy instances.
@Teppic@dansup just got on Artemis.camp and #artemisapp. A quick run through seems as good as my lemmy experiences. I look forward to all of these platforms getttkng better and better.
I’ve been very happy using kbin so far. But it seems like there’s a lot of app development for lemmy happening. Is there any chance of apps coming to kbin or support for kbin through some of the lemmy apps?
Hariette posted that she thinks #ArtemisApp will be publicly available within a week: https://tech.lgbt/@hariette/110800032271275199
...but with the caveat that right now it will only work for users subscribed to her kbin instance (this is because she has enabled an API which has been in development, and is now undergoing review).
There are others in development too, but full release of the API and roll out of this to kbin.social is key first.
My first impression of sync: it's good, it allows me to use #Lemmy the way I used #Reddit. Don't know how much better it gets with an Account, as I only have one for kbin. Some apps only allow limited home instances without an account, here I can freely choose whichever.

I wonder what microblogging will look like in Artemis.
