Comme tu l'as dit, c'est joli et pas ennuyant. J'ai trouvé la fin un peu décevante mais bon c'est un drame, il faut faire larmoyer !
Concernant le traitement des femmes, c'est vrai que Paro et Chandramukhi sont bien mal considérées par quasiment tout le monde. En revanche le film les montre sous un jour très positif.
Il y a eu une adaptation modernisée de l'histoire, Dev.D, qui est sortie en 2009 mais je ne l'ai pas vue.
