I'm so excited for the big update that Stairway Games have dropped for upcoming feature updates to Coral Island (I've been waiting patiently for news so I can continue playing).
They've not given hard dates as of yet, however, based on the developer diary entries a lot of the changes have been worked on since 1.0.
The art for this Coral Island game is so beautiful... Even the antagonists are visually stunning (though to me Derek and the construction workers are hot).
They really understand their audience and give them what they want! Can't wait to experience the full story of thwarting their antics.
1: Back playing #CoralIsland - officially released with version 1.0.

Okay, I guess my earlier toot was inaccurate because my silly self is about to click that Coral Island play button! I really want to romance the heck out of Luke as he's so fine.
It's rare for a game to really sink its teeth in me like this...Especially when it's a game that isn't 100% finished.
This isn't a 1.0, this release feels like a 0.7 or 0.8 release in EA. I will fight the urge and wait for it to be completed.
To my surprise I reached Town Rank C during the Fall Year 1...I honestly expected to reach it by Winter! However, my hyperfocus on healing the ocean helped push me over the threshold I was sitting at with Rank D.
I even finished much of that questline during today's playthrough! I can even afford more animals to boost my profits sky high! I must take a shower to be fully ready for the last day of work this week...So I can squeeze in at least five more days in-game.
I'm making steady progress in Coral Island, however, I can see Town Rank impacting my cash flow dramatically. As the higher value crops are locked behind various ranks. I do foresee myself at least reaching Rank C by at least Winter...This will make my cash flow dramatically better, I really can't wait to unlock even more seeds, clothes, and furniture!
However, #work is currently stopping my ability to no life Coral Island.
While Coral Island is good...There are issues with the script. Mistakes, bad grammar, and other little bugbears rear their ugly head up till the point I've made it to.
I can understand what they meant to write, but it is a bit sad to see those issues crop up regularly.
With luck Stairway Games will address these script issues with a patch!
Paying for the hairbrained choice of staying up till 3:30 in the morning playing Coral Island... However, I was so engrossed that this was the only outcome. My bachelor choice was initially Luke, now it's expanded to potentially 8! Those heart events really are something in this game. 😅
I took a break from Coral Island because so much stuff got finished. Upgraded my home, raised some friendships, well on my way to finishing the second mine.
My stomach told me to feed it and I'll fulfill this request by scarfing down some zesty curly fries while watching anime! After my fries are consumed, I go back to the island!
Welp, it's time to get tropical as I spent a little time posting on both Mastodon accounts while listening to music and imagining more things to write in the future!
Coral Island is going to be booted up post haste! As there's a tree planting festival that I must get in on as a farmer. I can raise a lot of friendships by attending and make myself a happy, cozy person in the process. 🖖 🌴 🏝️
Coral Island is a fun game...However, the fishing mini-game and catching bugs is infuriatingly annoying as of now. Bugs simply notice you too quickly for you to react oftentimes, they spawn in places the player can't see immediately which makes matters worse.
Fish typically fight upon hooking them for a while, if you hold the key responsible for reeling them in at that time...The line breaks. The NPCs are so cute and seem to have interesting backgrounds at least.
Me thinks that Coral Island's 1.0 is happening during 2024...They simply want to raise the price of this game by leaving early access on November 14, 2023.
The game will technically be feature rich but not a whole experience until next year rolls around. I might delay my playthrough until next year.
Nachdem ich meine Karriere in #Palia an den Nagel gehängt habe, habe ich dem Spiel #CoralIsland eine Chance gegeben. Das Spiel ist seit etwa einem Jahr im Early Access auf Steam erhältlich und überzeugt mich wesentlich mehr.
