What (if any) systems do people have in place to allow #emergency access to your #passwords and online accounts in the event of your death or incapacity?
I’m thinking of using Shamir’s Secret Sharing to distribute weighted shares of a key to various people (family, friends, #solicitor) to allow a variety of combinations to recover a password to a vault containing all the info about finances and online accounts.

My bigger worries about this intentional communications blackout is that it affects all #HumanitarianAid organizing communications & all on the ground #emergency#rescue communications. Those are the most important communications ATM for all civilians & aid workers, trapped under constant siege bombardment.
We have a neighbor who's been homebound… since before our pandemic… with a skin infection that makes it painful to wear clothing. She does not leave her apartment and relies on us and others to help her with things.
There are presently five police officers outside her door demanding she go with them. Our local social services non-profit is refusing to get involved, saying to let the police handle it: "They're professionals."
