Genau. #davx5 ist eine sehr wichtige APP im Bezug auf Sync mit einer #Nextcloud und allen Endgeräten. Diese APP kann aber nicht die Filter aus #thunderbird synchronisieren, weil #k9mail keinen import dieser Filtereinstellungen vorsieht. Also bis heute.

@thunderbird The #k9mail app does not have its own lock screen or password / biometric protection ... is that right ?? Love the app but without a password protection to protect the app even when phone is unlocked the app does not pass muster. Yahoo app does have this. Please, if I am right, fix this. Fix für alle, die K-9 Mail (v. 6.801) auf Android 14 nutzen, aber bei denen Push nicht mehr funktioniert. Damit IMAP IDLE/PUSH funktioniert, muss unter »Einstellungen -> Apps -> K-9 Mail -> Wecker und Erinnerungen -> Erlauben, Wecker und Erinnerungen einzurichten« aktiviert sein.
@WhyNotZoidberg GMail does suck and scrapes your email, I believe... Have you tried FairEmail on the #FDroid store (I had to pay for an "activation Licence" to make it more useful, but it was fairly cheap)? I also use #K9Mail for other accounts, which is good too. (Apologies if you'd rather not have suggestions, though)
#K9Mail integration with #OpenKeychain#pgp stuff is kinda broken after an update to the former. The app crashes everytime I write an email, because I have draft encryption enabled
#K9Mail unterstützt nicht das standardmäßige Signieren von Mails, weil's von fraglicher Nutzung ist !? Da bleibt wohl nur #FairEmail für mich jetzt wo ich mal die Nerven hatte meinen PGP-Key wieder sauber zu gestalten.
Just seen the news that it's official that #ThunderbirdForAndroid is delayed. I had a feeling as the days of December kept ticking by that we weren't going to see #Thunderbird in Q4 as intended and to be honest, I'm not even mad about it. Personally, I don't just want a rebadged #K9mail, I want something progressive and visionary... cough#ThunderbirdSynccough. I'm looking forward to seeing the release that #MZLA are happy with.

Ich glaube #geary mail ist so halbwegs brauchbar, aber das letzte mal als ich geguckt habe nicht zu 100%.
Mal gucken wie sich thunderbird entwickelt, da sie #K9Mail integrieren auf lange Sicht. @ktn
Grande est la tentation d'utiliser les belles applications de messagerie préinstallées sur notre ordinateur ou téléphone. Est-ce qu'elles respectent notre vie privée ? Nous ne pouvons pas savoir ; leur code n'est pas ouvert.
Installer #Thunderdird sur ordinateur ou #k9mail sur mobile ne prend qu'une minute et nous garantit le respect de nos données et de notre vie privée.

Does anyone know how to activate tablet/widescreen mode in K-9 Mail? I see in droid-ify a screenshot showing tablet support. But it does not seem to work automatically on my tablet? cc @k9mail#k9mail#androidtablet
My #Android devices are offline most of the time (because it saves battery, avoids distractions, or because of lack of connectivity).
One of my annoyances with #K9mail (a.k.a. #Thunderbird mobile) is that it sets all new #email notifications to the time when it emits them, so it's all marked as "Now" when the device comes back online, instead of the mail's timestamp.

August was a relatively calm month for the team, with many taking well-deserved summer vacations and attending our first Mozilla All-Hands event.
Despite the quieter pace, we managed to hit a significant milestone on our journey to Thunderbird for Android: the beta release of our new account setup interface.
