Have to get 1 thing off my chest though. It always strikes me how incongruent the messaging quickly becomes when on the website one is asked "Place Open Forum event in this Big Tech's Proprietary Calendar or do manual action otherwise"
Why not make an open calendar default, Google manual?

XMPP is not dead, far from it
I have a lot to say on Google, but at least they made a major contribution to XMPP and the A/V world in general by co-authoring Jingle
what was/is painful to XMPP is the lack of resources, specially for client devs, most of clients are made by very small team (often single person), and most of time on their free time
other painful things are ill informed criticisms and mis-informations
And fortunately we have organisations like #NLNet and #EU#NGI program which have been a a great breath of fresh air for many #XMPP project (and many others), including #Libervia. Thanks to people doing that!

#NGIForum23 The is no way to edit or remove questions. The is no way to talk to anyone... A normal #NGI "trust" #4opens fail, except this time it is a hardcoded due to the use of this CMS for the event. Before this we used #FOSS with #BBB which worked well, then #dotcons silos that worked after a fight each time to get chat turned on, now we are here #blocking, every #EU tech event has pushed this "control" mess over the public. What are you guys in "control" going to do to stop this.
Had a look thought the #Particify site, and it seems to be only a ONE-WAY tool, with controlled/shaped feedback. Which is why whoever organized #NGIForum23 used it. This is not "people to people" and it's not "trust". How can we go about putting in an official complaint to #NGI and their sponsors about this mess they keep pushing #EU
