Brand new art made from a old photo I had laying around. I love the Redbud trees that bloom first thing in springtime before they even put their heart shaped leaves on. It is a sight I look forward to after a long cold winter and it is when we know with a certainty that spring is here.

This is what I came up with for week 18 of the 52 week outdoors themed image challenge I am taking part in on FineArtAmerica.

It was an old iPhone shot I had laying around and I turned it into a digital watercolor today which breathed new life into this dead leaf.
