#TheFallGuy film was great fun. Mad, OTT, definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously - which captured the spirit of the original TV series (that I remember and loved!)
Some excellent stunts (loved the spinning skip punch-up) and so cool to showcase the real life stunt crew at the end. Could watch a whole film of just them! Seems like a film they had a lot of fun making. Which is the whole point.
Nods to the original series too. Stay until the end, after the credits. Oh, and 👍 #stunts#cinema
This Sunday at 9pm eastern #MONSTERDON returns once more! This week we're giving ol' Roger Corman a salute, since he shuffled off to that great box office in the sky recently. Meaning we'll be watching THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM (1961), which also features Vincent Price :D
Alright it is twenty minutes until #MONSTERDON, which means if you don't want to see a bunch of nerds watching a monster movie you should set up a filter!
Very sad news for movie lovers: the legendary Roger Corman has died at age 98. Here's a tribute to him from Variety. Tell us what you loved about Corman in the comments.
Is this a sign of the times for the movie business and creative professions in general? The Art Directors Guild (ADG) has suspended its Production Design Initiative program, which gives people hands-on training and job placements, saying, "we cannot in good conscience encourage you to pursue our profession while so many of our members remain unemployed.” The unemployment rate for members of the ADG currently stands at 75 percent. Here's more from IndieWire.
