#EdinburghCastle has responded. The café is indeed named after The Redcoats who slaughtered, raped, and tortured Scottish men, women, children. This is a good opportunity to teach Scottish history, something most adults over the age of 30 were denied.
Calton Hill in Edinburgh, offering one of the best panoramic views in a city of many superb viewpoints. On the left is the Dugald Stewart Monument, built in 1831, while Edinburgh Castle forms the horizon in the centre of the picture. I've only been once to Edinburgh for a day, but it was so lovely there - the city has a nice medieval flair with the castle sitting high on top of a hill. Maybe I'll be back one day for a longer trip.
