Little man (Aka Julius the Great….Dane) had an ultrasound today. He got fidgety so they gave him a touch of sedation. Dude came to singing Irish drinking ditties off key and cursing the entire staff, their ancestors, and the generations to come. Then he fell asleep like this on the way home.
I demand better medication at my next procedure now. 😆
We adopted Sly 8 years ago. He was coming up to people in the parking lot at the office and sorta walking them to the building. We live next to the open space and we needed help with rodent control so we scooped him up and brought him home. He hid in the guest bathroom for 2 days, then came out and decided he owned the place.
We adopted Katie from #GreatDane#Rescue. She is about 8 and we've had her for about 6 years. She is a strong-willed girl and had been bounced between 3 or 4 different families, none of whom were a good fit. The last family surrendered her to rescue. The rescue folks were looking for someone with prior large-breed experience (she's our third Dane) and we had just unexpectedly lost our second Dane.
One of Katie's nicknames is Chief Inspector Katie.
-Sammy the St. Bernard on the right is a little batty
-Murdock the #GreatDane in the middle in back finally fits in with his sisters wearing a black lions mane (he's trying to be a long hair dog to fit in), also jammies!
That is one LARGE hind leg.
Boomer is a Great Dane/Mastiff mix. He’s recently lost some weight: down to only 135 lb in his last checkup. #DogsOfFedi#DogsOfMastodon#GreatDane#Mastiff
Eloise, practicing her Dane Sit form. Being only a small animal, she’s using the arm of the couch. Boomer, an actual Dane, looks unimpressed 😆 #DogsOfMastodon#MastoDogs#GreatDane
