I'm Tavi Stars, on most social media sites, Second Life, & Open Sims. I'm a disabled, artistic, & spiritually inclined gamer with a penchant for all things purple, kawaii, macabre, space-themed, & sparkly. My interests span philosophy, meditation, arts & crafts, listening to ASMR, signing along (horribly) to K-Pop, watching anime, K-Dramas, and BL shows, & the intricacies of Hindu, Norse & Egyptian cultures, among many other topics!
Okay let's start with an #introduction here. Hi, I'm Jackdaw, an indie (well mostly hobby) writer and poet, as well as a dad and husband, artist, crafter, bookkeeping nerd, perpetual student, practicing pagan, fantasy and romance reader, trans queer guy, anticapitalist and certified financial professional. I want to talk about books! And writing! And writing books!
I've been lurking for a while now but figured I would make an #introduction. You can call me ferret and I use she/her pronouns. I don't know how active I'll be because I'm pretty shy, but I decided to make an account because I've been trying other social medias since twitter was bought by musk and I decided to try out the fediverse after Cohost had their second big funding issue back in March. Currently my favorite anime are the show Bang Dream: It's MyGO and the movie Liz and the Blue Bird.
I'm elsewhere in the fediverse but need a space to be anonymous, for my complaints to be anonymous. So, here I am. And I brought my complaints with me. Feel free to swing by, BYOC (bring your own complaints).

I pay a local composting service, that feeds a large scale hot pile, so all food scraps are acceptable. They pick up my 5-gallon (~19 liter) bucket every week. I've been using the service for > 2 years, and they tell me I provided over 1,300 (!) pounds of food waste. In exchange they give me about 80 lbs of compost every spring.
I'm very new to Mastodon so here's a short #introduction.
I've been a #hamradio operator since 1988. I have my Extra Class ticket. I currently enjoy #qrp operating and #homebrew projects. Most of my building has been kits but I've come to enjoy scratch building. Not as pretty but a lot of fun.
My latest project has just been powered up, a #T41-EP. Lots to do still but it first picked up a signal today. Looking forward to learning a lot from the community here.
