Czego się słucha na końcu torów, gdzie buraki rosną? (odcinek a bo ja wiem który...)
Dziś zajmiemy się Fear Factory. Zespół znany fanom metalu w latach 90., działający długo później, mający górki i dołki, niejednokrotnie powodowane przerośniętym ego wokalisty, Burtona Bella. Ale należy mu oddać, że świetnie łączył growl i czysty śpiew, do czego mam personalną słabość (jeśli dacie radę, poszukajcie jego coveru "I Will Follow" U2).
Ale teraz coś innego, i chwała idzie nie do oryginału, a do coveru. Trudno mnie do tego przekonać, ogólnie coverów nie lubię, ale raz na jakiś czas zdarza się coś, przed czym należy zdjąć czapki.
Może być bardziej znany z remixu, który pojawił się na jakimś soundtracku do filmu czy gry - współczesne wyszukiwarki mają to poza swoim perymetrem, ale jestem na 100% pewien, że jako nastolatek słyszałem to na kasecie z CZEGOŚ - nie wiem, Matrix? Chicago's VOIMATON play a great, chuggy mix of death doom that is infectious. It's tough to make a full length death metal album and make the whole thing damn great, but Voimaton definitely did with 2022's 'Profane Vestige'.
I’m mostly listening to the following bands right now, I suppose kind of drone / doom / stoner / dark ambient #metal. It’s kind of comforting, like being under a very heavy weighted blanket with a sleeping mammoth on top of it:

They're an avant-garde red/anarchist black metal (RABM) band, and Hostile Architecture is one of my favourite albums of the last few years. Equal parts beautiful and brutal, and upholding the rule that all metal bands with saxophones are good.

While inverter machines and digital control TIG machines are incredible, and plasma cutters are super fast and cut a sweet clean line., They do not have the soul of a 70 year old cutting torch, I love breaking out the Airco 'corn cob' torch. #art#welding#studio#metal
