Nice day today. Met my daughter in law and her little girl for coffee and talk and more talk at Starbucks. Turns out she is my closest friend. Can also talk about anything. She's Khmer smart and kind and exceedingly patient with this barang.

Someone recently suggested to me that #Starbucks has "improved" in Australia and convinced me to try it again.
I can safely say after grudgingly agreeing to try it again yesterday, while it might be possible to say that it has "improved", it is "improved" in the same way that eating 3 rat turds would be an "improvement" over eating having to eat 5.
