After win last month by member of 'proven right-wing extremist' AfD branch, Jewish head of Thuringia domestic intelligence agency says will emigrate if party joins state gov't
In case you haven't heard: In the German town of #Sonneberg, citizens have elected a right-wing extremist district administrator. This is the first time in history that the fascist #AfD party, which calls itself an “Alternative for Germany”, won that type of local elections.
The town is located in the Federal State of #Thuringia, which had been part of the “German Democratic Republic” – a.k.a. the Soviet occupation zone of #Germany – between 1945 and 1990.
A rather simple trip that involved 7km walking with boat shoes on tarmac. I really expected soft forrest trails here but I had to work with whats there :D After a lunch break with some cold nutritious powder in filtered water I made the jump to inflate the boat and transition into the river to head back to the start through some wilder sections with a little white water.
A display of the finds from this royal tomb dated to the Bronze Age, the period of the #Nebra Sky Disk. This is in the restaurant at highway 71 in #Thuringia. You can also walk from the resting area towards the tomb of Leubingen along a footpath. Photo by our member Maatje, more on our page: https://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=58852#BronzeAge#axes
#Germany’s far-right party suffered a surprise defeat in a widely watched regional election that has followed a fortnight of nationwide protests.
Mainstream parties have rallied together to try to block the rise of the #AfD in recent days. #Thuringia’s interior minister — a member of the Social Democratic party — even told voters in Saale-Orla to support the #CDU to stop #Thrum.
#Justitia omnibus, #Justice For All, the state motto of Washington, D.C. holds true in Germany.
Germany's most infamous #fascist, the state leader of the the fascist #AfD in #Thuringia and quite likely the next prime minister ("Governor") of the Free State of Thuringa, #BjörnHöcke, was held to account by the district court in Halle: 13,000 EUR.
What for, you might ask?...
