My wife uses #Firefox, and lately every time she boots up her computer ( #Windows11 ) you have to go into the Sound controls in Windows and unmute it, it always starts muted.
Apparently this was a common issue around the year 1769, judging from Mozilla's "Common sound issues in Firefox" page that has screenshots from Vista.
My DuckDuckFu fails me, I cannot find anyone else with this issue anywhere.
I stopped posting any new content to twitter (I do retweet and reply every now and again) and have mostly just been checking in for the dozen or so good accounts I follow that seem committed to wait until the ship is below the waves to man the lifeboats.
But holy cats, the utter tire fire going on over there now that Elon took away unpaid blue checks, then started inflicting them on popular accounts is something else. Anybody got a bag of marshmallows?
