    @skinnylatte We were apprehensive about it until we tried it In Bali. Didn't seem that bad. Maybe they mixed some sugar in, anticipating turis revulsion? 🤷 I can see why it's forbidden in transpor and hotels though.

    So, I'm unclear. Durian is permissible to eat on trains, airplanes, and in hotel rooms? I recall signage expressly prohibiting that while we were abroad in SE Asia. A translation error? Or has the prohibition been lifted? Or is only applicable to turis?
