    Turns out, if you make a big deal out of how your children are unrelenting disease transmitters who will stop at nothing in their quest to coat the world in boogers and saliva, nobody wants to be near you for very long. I am absolutely going to take advantage of this whether my kids are actually sick or not.

    @RickiTarr Even if my body could last that long, I'm not sure the brain part would handle it. BUT (there's always a big but, thanks Pee-Wee) if we could upload ourselves into a cybernetic thingie, I'd go for it. I figure Zuck, Musk, &c, are already on that path..

    Last night, my husband asked me to look at something that felt weird on his back, and honestly, it looked like a cancerous mole. I told him he needed to go to the doctor this morning, so he did. The Nurse Practitioner said, Yep, that looks gnarly, and took a biopsy. Now we have to wait for a week, which feels way too long. I know basal cell carcinomas are very treatable, and almost never lead to death, but I still feel anxious. Has anyone else dealt with this before?

    @RickiTarr (Delivery, outside for 25 yrs.) But always slathered on the heaviest sunscreen I could find (like a combination of chalk, library paste, and heavy oil lol) Just had some tags removed and the dermatologist didn't see anything problematic.
