Today I saw my first GMC on the road.

I think it’s an abomination. A paragon of waste and excess, and distilled selfishness. 9000 lb of hubris and projection. It’s way too wide, and way too tall, and carries 2.5× the kinetic energy of any other vehicle traveling at the same speed.

It’s not as derisible as the , but it’s equally despicable in my eyes.

    @the_etrain Our son played on a field that was dominated by gophers. Built next to a sewage treatment plant and a railroad track. Whenever a train would pass by, the younger outfielders would just watch the train slack jawed.

    What is a little white lie you were told as a child, that you believed for too long?

    I was way too old when I figured out a human couldn't actually get sucked down a drain or flushed down a toliet. I used to cling to my little brothers, and pull them out of the bath any time my Mum would pull to plug.
