@Mrfunkedude
It's something I'll likely wind up doing, hopefully by the time recall can't be turned off/they get it eating your GPU there will be more Nvidia/game support.
Priapos isn't just a god of dicks, bees, and abundant orchards. He was also a patron god for navigators on the sea, of merchant sailors in #ancientGreece and Rome. Apotropaic items carried on board by mariners in the forms of a terracotta phallus and a wooden #Priapos figure were found in shipwrecks, coinciding with the use of wooden Priapic markers erected in areas of dangerous passage or particular landing areas for sailors.
Fuck Godaddy, I am trying to transfer a client's domain from Godaddy to Cloudflare and it kept failing and for some reason now it renewed for another year, but says it won't be allowed to transfer until July 22? WTF!? I just unlocked it and transferred it. One of two domains failed.
@chiefgyk3d
GoDaddy will probably say the lock is out of their hands, and from their front line support or deeper, they probably cannot unlock it after 60 days.
Via ICANN transfer policy:
3.7.5 The transfer was requested within 60 days of the creation date as shown in the registry Whois record for the domain name.
3.7 Upon denying a transfer request for any of the following reasons, the Registrar of Record must provide the Registered Name Holder and the potential Gaining Registrar with the reason for denial. The Registrar of Record may deny a transfer request only in the following specific instances
MAY....
There are registrar's that will lock when you update contact info too.... And they send out that friendly check your contact details a month before renewal. (Network Solutions)
@chiefgyk3d
If you already paid CloudFlare for the transfer they shouldn't have a prob either refunding or have the transfer on ice to try again if you can't get GoDaddy to unlock the dom.
A Children's play area called the "shrimp farm" with pictures of happy dancing anthropomorphic shrimp eating non anthropomorphic shrimp on the walls. The ball pit tastes like shrimp, the nets and slide tastes like shrimp. The whole place tastes like shrimp. It's a feature.
I've been asked to do an online meeting on Friday and this will involve screen sharing. I tend to avoid these things like the plague and have already told them I don't use Zoom or Teams.
Are there anythings I need to be wary of from a privacy point of view?
What is everyone using for a search engine these days? I was bouncing between Duck Duck Go and Kagi - but Kagi is now in cahoots with Brave which I'm not a fan of so that's out. Duck Duck Go is ok, but curious what else is out there.
It scrapes results from Google brave Bing duck duck etc. minus all the frilly bits like suggested answers that are pissing folks off then relevance ranks those results.
If you want to do something small to acknowledge the climate crisis we are experiencing, don't have anything to do with the crypto market / blockchain and avoid using AI. Pretty fucking simple.
@noondlyt
Yep, LLM can do some neat things if you pull back the veil of buzzwords and shoe horning, but it's a pig on current hardware and those neat things are just not worth its current energy consumption.
My personal bot's LLM based functions have been on ice for months now until anthropic and/or openrouter start touting models hosted on more efficient hardware. I'll likely be waiting a while heh.
