Anybody know where you could get a 3D-modeled one of these, but for the Wreckers variant of the faction symbol?

Got a new old car a few weeks back and I'm thinking of attaching one of these to the hood... but it's a bigger, beefier car than my previous one, so I was thinking Wreckers would be more appropriate for it.

Anybody have experience with old Chromebooks? I got my hands on a really nice, albeit ancient one (I'm typing on it right now) and it has great battery life, a beautiful screen, and a Chrome application that stopped being able to update years ago.

Thinking about maybe trying to install Gallium on it, it's a linux distro built for this specific use case... but I don't know anybody who's tried it and I want to pick their brains.

Hey Mastodon, I have an question. I am remembering a song, probably from a musical, where it's nothing but a bunch of names of classical composers, getting faster and faster with each repetition until unsingable.

It starts with "Bach, Brahms, Beethoven," then the next one was another B I think, like Barstoff or Barstock, then it continues to rattle on through a ton of other names before looping back.

TV show idea: A trio of kids are abducted by aliens, befriend the sentient ship AI, have the AI help them escape, and then they take the core with them and install it in their family's minivan, which turns it into a transformer.

The entire show is told 'in medias res', starting with them installing the core into the van and the AI suddenly finding itself no longer a giant sentient battleship and now a Dodge Caravan with faux wood paneling, and the rest is discovered through flashbacks

The main character of the movie is the dead sister, the entire thing is orbiting around her absence, it's also why the POV keeps jumping from character to character, because it's following a ghost

PPVs (pay-per-views) in the wrestling world are weird, and as a "story" fan, they cause some weird narrative structure things that you don't really get in most other storytelling.

In the weeks leading up to the PPV, there's a lot of things building up and very little resolutions... because they want you to pay money to watch the PPV.

All this plot development and dénouementing is great, because depending on the company and their writing structure, some of those storylines that needed their climactic finish have been...

...sort of...

...circling the drain, waiting for someone to put them out of their misery for a while. You can only NOT finish a story so many times before people get fed up, after all.

The PPV itself is usually a mix of narrative things all happening at once.

You've got the climax of some storylines, which frees up those wrestlers to take a break and then come back to be in new stories

You've got the evolution of other storylines - a betrayal, a new alliance, a surprise return - the overall story continues, but now in a new direction

Occasionally, you have the dreaded continuation - where a storyline ISN'T resolved, or even changed, and just continues.

The first episode after a PPV, when all the narrative resources are in flux, they can really progress the stories far and fast - and need to, in order to set up the new narratives that will play out over the next few weeks.

But, the closer to the PPV you get, the less you can advance, the more diminishing your returns because you want to get those stories as close to 100% as you can without hitting it.
