@liztai when I was younger I used to do a month of paper work at a time for all my clients, which was from memory and looking though my own activity of files and messages emails to put my days back together🙄in an evening. Soo soo bad at it.
Luckily I could track myself fairly up to the minute. Now 20 years older…what did I even do this week😅

That’s so weird I just almost had that conversation with my partner 😆. We were discussing evbio applied physics, hey can you heat dinner, thanks I’m going to feed the cats and reflect on how we have evolved as people since we have met.
For me there are a few people who are usually equalizing, and I can just be around them, so I won't count that. But generally, I find about 3 times a week, I'm game for socializing. A day in between to rest is usually nice, but the larger the gathering or if we go somewhere particularly noisy or I'm meeting new people that involves more effort, and my social battery empties sooner. I'm very curious where everyone else falls on this!
@RickiTarr
I’m not sure tbh, that’s a vastly complex question got me that has many variables..it would be nice if I got a watch alert like on the sims like ok bar is filled up time to go recover staring at the wall 😆
This timelapse of a fungus kept by leafcutter ants is remarkable. Thousands of ants monitoring humidity, the nutrition needs of the fungus, removing unwanted growths, keeping their brood and harvesting food. Inside: the queen. Totally inclosed in a living home. The walls are food, a place for her eggs, they slowly renew, tended by her daughters.
As every living organism maintains itself, but on a strange macro-scale. These are your cells shedding and being replaced.
Wow. A microbiology lab at Texas A&M accepted purchased raw milk samples from NPR for H5N1 testing, then contacted the milk producers to seek permission. When the producers said, "don't test our milk," the lab not only declined to carry out the tests but also refused to send the samples on to another lab.
@kdnyhan idt your supposed to consume raw milk regardless. There’s a reason pasteurization was discovered or so at least in my mind lol. Not only shelf life.

I was talking about how it plays out over populations so 🤷♀️ . from what little I know :) it could look the same in your circles if that was the case 😅
Sometimes when you learn how something works, you think, Thanks knowledge, that really helped, everything makes more sense, and other times you look up how wrists turn, and it's like WTF?!
@BashStKid@RickiTarr lol…yeah evbio and behavior ecology has what seems are like 10-15 majors to it. Luckily some overlap kinda sorta… then there’s philosophy
@ashleyspencer@actuallyautistic
People like to compare things, I think.
Since we are social creatures.
I mean the species.
They compare social things in their head or outloud.
My partner asks if they are weird, I reply,“ofc not.”
“You are simply fantastically eccentric. I wouldn’t have you any other way”
They reply back “noo do I appear weird to normal people..”
