People will defend a state's genocide, and settler colonialism by talking about the diversity of the people involved.

Keep in mind the US' Imperial military is also made up of a diverse group of folks.

This is messaging that is meant to place doubt in the minds of white folks and stop them from acting. It relies on you seeing racialized groups as monoliths.

The rest of us already know that not all skinfolk are kinfolk.

Use of white phosphorus as a weapon is an undisputed war crime, due to its indiscriminate nature and due to inflicting suffering which exceed that needed to render a combatant hors de combat (out of combat).
The latter is in continuation of the "Declaration Renouncing the Use, in Time of War, of Explosive Projectiles Under 400 Grammes Weight" which is international law since already in 1868, the predecessor of the Hague Conventions, Geneva Conventions, etc. The foundation of it all.

In fact, I've been around people with POC partners who are very racist & they try to play the - 'I can't be racist because I have a POC partner.'
Some of the most vile racist shit I've witnessed/experienced was from ppl with POC partners.

It's not about who you're partnered with or who your friends are - it's what you think, what you believe in & how you treat & talk about POC folks overall.
