Forced cashless society.

Our nearby small market town used to have 3 banks; they're all closed (taking their cash machines with them), and this week one of the two remaining cash machines was removed from the supermarket where it was located.

So, we're down to a single cash machine in an area with a radius (I'm guessing) of around 20 miles.

The cashless society doesn't represent consumer choice, its pace is being forced by financial institutions keen to charge fees on transactions!

“I hereby fine you $10,000 -- which is on the liberal side -- to be paid within 30 days,” the judge ruled.

Each participant is supposed to build their own individual-based model towards the end of the semester. Last year's project was about indirect evolutionary rescue and the year before was about the intermediate disturbance hypothesis. I want to come up with a new challenge so things don't get boring. Something #ecoevo would be perfect but I feel stuck...

I said before result for the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election that a Labour win would be painted as a 'revival'. Let's look at facts.
1.Protest vote against party whose MP broke Covid rules.
2. Low turnout.
3. History. Seat changed hands in each of last 5 elections. If same pattern repeats SNP should win it back at next year's general election.
4. Resource. Labour threw everything at seat with activists bussed up from all over. They won't be able to do that at General election.
