I still buy some physicl manga. I do perfer it, but have no room to store it and there is so much. I am mainly finishing series I started before I went to emanga. I am an active luddite and do what I can to sabotage AI.

When does it cross the line?

1. When steals training material.
2. When it plagiarizes or mimics others.
3. When they utilize immoral terms of service. i.e looting social media that have implemented "legalized theft."
4. When it attempts to substitute itself for real individuals.
5. When it attempts to pass itself off as human output.
6. When it attempts to imply it is "intelligence."

In other words, everything that currently labels itself as AI. "Deep Learning" tools could be acceptable but not as they are currently implemented and run.

Oh forgot when it uses "sweatshop" labor.

Did you know there is a setting under the notifications tab that lets you turn off notifications when people edit a post? It is handy to turn off if you follow someone like me who compulsively edits typos in posts, (and creates them to begin with.)

NEW: Nightshade 1.0.2 (bug fix) for Mac GPUs (April 2 2024)
1.0.2 fixes a "Accelerator detected but has error" bug on Mac M1 machines.
Hey all, we finally implemented a workaround to get a version of Nightshade working on Mac GPUs. The prior issue was PyTorch Mac GPU support, which we've found some hacks around. The new version runs on Mac M1/M2/M3 chips, and does not require any additional GPU drivers. See below for the download link.

Chapter 24 is finally ready to sit and get a last edit.

I ignored a couple of Beta readers suggestions, but one they didn't think was big gave me a hard time.

Characters were reacting to the tone of something I had in my head, not what was on paper. What I had on paper was right, not what was in my head. to rip out the transition both in and out of that section so people were reacting appropriately. It meant junking some nice dialog, but oh well.

Anyone who follows my timeline knows I'm deep into underground Japanese Idols. Neck deep or deeper. Shows, livestreams, Cheki (small polaroid-type photos), bromides (larger photos), autographs, you name it.

I also do rough camping and hunt ghosts. I know some folks think I'm batty but I've had a couple of encounters with them.

I fear it will require a new brain. Amoung my many gifts is ADHD. I made it work for me, but prolonged focus is usually beyond me. A good juicy piece of narrative is good. Until I need to look up something. And then we are in for 5+, usually +, of chasing shiny objects around.

I remember my mother yelling at me for something trivial, Making me bow and touch my head to the floor in apology.

There was also the time I was biking off to join my friends and a tree branch fell and hit my bike. I flew off and broke my arm.

The most scary though was the time I told my mother I wanted to be a girl and she looked at me and said that was unacceptable and she never wanted to hear me speak like that again. There was something about her eyes that told me I had ventured too far. It was a look of utter contempt. I hid my feelings till I was able to escape to another country and transition. #Transgender #Transfem

Like everyone else is saying, it's an ->auto<- biography so unless I'm a multiple or cloned there is only one person who could write it.

Assuming it's a brain fart and biography is meant. Either a queer trans person over the age of 50, because they will understand some of it, or David Lynch because then it would be wonderfully dark and no one would understand it.
