@ThunderComplex @linux_mclinuxface What that tells me is that the new Redis fork everyone will do just has to be one commit earlier than the license, lol. Fuck them, they can't retroactively apply the new license on the older codebase (I hope…?).

@david_megginson @inquiline To be fair, plastics ain't a specific problem to cars even though manufacturers also like to use them excessively. You can basically find them anywhere, including busses, trains, trams etc. - of course I agree it would be way less than with all the cars we got though.

Ultimately we'll only solve this problem by enforcing the use of bio-degradable alternatives or more traditional materials like stainless steel, wood and such.

@josh The extensive use by universities, public institutions, governments, the police and other comparable places really underlines why the design of the main client Element is so unintuitive and detached from the common chat program structure.
Especially the whole "Spaces" concept instead of communities will probably work well for them, but is a complete mess for many users trying to distinguish communities and groups, or who just want a damn voice channel. It simply is awful for personal use.

@ff7 @josh "Voice channel" commonly mean a room in the left-hand list that, upon clicking on it, immediately joins you to a call that doesn't obstruct anything you did or see until that point.

Technically Element introduced the voice functionality on the dev branch a while ago, however the UI/UX works entirely different as they're designed around being (and called) video rooms.

For many people who're used to software like Teamspeak, Discord, Mumble or Ventrilo this is highly unintuitive.

@RichiH Habe als Bastelbackofen leider nur einen der bei 100°C anfängt. :| Jener in der Küche ist für sowas Tabu.

Feucht ist da eigentlich auch nix, zumindestens nicht sichtbar. Lohnt sich wirklich ein solcher Filamenttrockner für sowas? 🤔 Habe bisher immer gehört das wäre eher Schlangenöl.

Die Küche ist hauptsächlich tabu weil der Ofen zum einen sowas wie Pyrolyse nicht hat und, natürlich, weil es nicht nur meine Küche ist. 🤭

@RichiH Oh wow, ich bin gerade nochmal hin um zu schauen wie es jetzt aussieht… das Filament ist am Extruder schlicht abgebrochen. @tizilogic

Mal eine blöde Frage weil auch das eSUN PLA+ was vorher drin war beim Versuch es herauszunehmen brach… die Dämpfe welche von einem 3D Druck Harz ausgehen können nicht zufällig (bekanntermaßen) PLA angreifen, oder? o_o

@RichiH @tizilogic Nutzen dafür im Moment entsprechende Masken und lüften konstant gut durch. Haben leider keinen besseren Ort dafür, suchen im Moment nach Miethäusern.

Bzgl. Filament brauchts keine große Spurensuche… was mir die Recyclingfabrik da geschickt hat ist einfach Scheiße gewickelt.

@RichiH @tizilogic Naja, beim Bild davor war es ja bereits zu spät. 😉

Drucke morgen die Datei erstmal wieder mit dem weißen PLA, der rPLA muss dann warten bis ich Geld über habe für einen Filamenttrockner (oder einen anderen Bastelofen organisiert bekomme).

@jacobscharmberg @Mawoka @RichiH @tizilogic Das ist in der Tat ein super einfaches Design. 🤔 Ich teste das mal mit dem pinken Filament in der Hoffnung das die Qualität daraufhin akzeptabel ist und beim Drucken kein weiterer Knoten zum vorschein kommt (Die #Recyclingfabrik muss da echt dringend ihre Wicklung verbessern…). Auf lange Sicht ist der Umbau einer großen Plastikbox vmtl. sinnvoller wenn ich dafür eine sichere Wärmequelle finde.

@jacobscharmberg @Mawoka @RichiH @tizilogic Well, ich habs probiert und was kann ich sagen… shit, der Unterschied ist ja wie Tag und Nacht.
Unterste Schichten waren noch der abgebrochene Rest Filament von gestern, praktischer Direktvergleich.

Schaue die Tage mal obs vielleicht eine einfache DIY Anleitung gibt für einen effizienteren Trockner als diese Heatbed-Methode.
