Those wall sensor devices to detect steel beams and such are really nice.

Now, if they were correct about what they say it would be even better. Because I'd argue "metal in 11cm depth" and "metal in 4cm depth (probably a metal pipe)" are two very, very different things. 🙄

Good thing it was a very modern metal-thing in that wall that even resisted my foolish attempts at drilling through it with a drill hammer. sigh Gonna need to wait for new material now. #diy

Anyone got an idea what could cause irregular #network lag on an #ArchLinux machine on a wired network?
We already ruled out cable, NIC and such stuff and system usage is fine, same with iotop and journalctl. We really are out of ideas.
VoIP tools lag behind (some sentences are send directly, some are only received by participants after up to 3 seconds) as well as games which act like lag spikes but without the latency going ham. Wireshark reports basically no dropped packages. #Help. #Linux

Gedanken um Verantwortung.
Ich hasse meine Schmerzmittel, ich hasse meine Fibromyalgie. Mir wurde bereits medizinisches Cannabis angeboten von Arzt, ich habe abgelehnt.
Nun überlege ich es zumindest einmal zu versuchen. Aaaaber, ich habe Angst dann nicht sinnvoll für die Kinder da sein zu können, Vorbild und so, plus ich hasse das Gefühl Watte im Kopf zu haben.

Muss ich drauf rumdenken...
