By Q1 2025, I should have a full implant-supported denture, replacing my top teeth. I’ve had a partial for almost a year now, as I fussed around, trying to decide how to proceed. I’ll be very glad to be done with this phase.
I’ve been struggling with sleep issues for over a decade now. My Doctor has prescribed me all sorts of medication, all of which has had many adverse side effects. What I do know that works, is Xanax. My wife was prescribed it for some stress issues and occasionally will give me one so I can finally sleep. Obviously asking my...
Alcohol used to wreck my sleep. I’d come home, dog-tired at 7 PM, have a few (and a few more) drinks, look up and 6 hours had passed.
I ended up burning out, and having to quit both booze and weed. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Along with all the obvious health, psychological and financial benefits, I sleep amazingly well now.
Over the past few months, we’ve been accelerating our ability to execute outstandingly, make faster decisions, and realize our multi-product ambitions.
My intended point is that browsing all is a viable way to find communities. You won’t miss many communities if you browse everything. Then subscribe to what you like, block what you really dislike.
You’re right that all can be overwhelming and distasteful, but at least it really is everything, as opposed to the r/all, which was heavily filtered.
Yes, every night AFAIK, but I sleep very deeply and seldom remember them beyond a matter of seconds. If I’ve had caffeine late, I do tend to remember them more.
It’s been mentioned before, but school busses are the ideal implementation of pure BEV. Their operation time to charge time allows them to be far more gentle on the batteries than mass transit, where you might only have a 4 to 6-hour non-revenue window to charge a whole fleet of busses that need to run for 18 hours at a time.
While the upfront and maintenance costs can be considerable, for mass transit, spending at least part of the route running and changing on trolley wire is a much more sustainable option.
I’m 5 years younger than OP. I work in a municipal transportation power system job (we maintain and control the grid for trains, trolleys, etc.). I’m sure I’m wasting all sorts of effort in my professional life. I have time. I got a lot out of learning Power Automate. However, if you ask me to pick one specific project, I get overwhelmed because I don’t know what’s reasonable.
I don’t know enough to know if my ideas are achievable, or if I’d just be bashing my head against the wall. I don’t know if they’re laughably simple tasks, multimillion-dollar propositions, or Goldilocks ideas that would be perfect to learn a coding language.
