Pixel art of an enchanting English cottage, carefully cradled in the heart of a boundless lavender field. The architecture, an embodiment of time-honoured England, boasts of meticulously arranged tiled roofs, an echo of craftsmanship from another era. Set like a jewel in the beautiful English countryside, the cottage stands, a silent sentinel watching over the tranquil landscape. Lavender waves dance playfully in the breeze, casting a dreamy purple haze over the scene, as the sun dips low, painting the sky in hues of gold and orange. This idyllic image, so quintessentially English, is a symphony of colour, tranquillity, and timeless beauty.

@lashman another day, another great wallpaper!

I lived next to this adorable cat during my vacation to a little village called Pruno in Italy!

I wonder how much more expensive sheets for round beds are.

StickBugged,

@burritomadness you could probably use a sheet for a regular bed as long as it's big enough

StickBugged,

@gamingonlinux looks promising! If I hadn't spent all of my money on a steamdeck I'd probably order one

Pixel art of a city ensnared in the fiery jaws of chaos, its grandeur fading into the smoky veil of destruction. Buildings, once towering testaments to human achievement, now stand as smouldering shadows, their dignity lost to the unyielding flames. Amongst them, a church, a cherished sanctuary of faith, its holy silhouette now marred by the voracious inferno. Its spire, once a beacon of hope, is reduced to a skeletal remnant, echoing a silent prayer amidst the devastation. The sky, a canvas traditionally reserved for the peaceful interplay of day and night, now hosts a chilling spectacle. Nuclear explosions bloom with deadly elegance, their radioactive petals unfurling to paint the heavens in an unnerving array of searing hues. They cast an apocalyptic glow, their ghostly light illuminating the city’s downfall.

@lashman holy shit that's good! Makes for a damn great wallpaper too!

Does anyone know any relaxing indie games that play well on the steamdeck? My budget is around 10 bucks but if the game really is worth it the price doesn't matter.

StickBugged,

@johnny42strom I've heard about it a lot, and it's currently on sale on Steam (I think it is at least) so I'll probably get it!

StickBugged,

@BrianAllred Spiritfarer looks like a very interesting game! I'll definitely consider getting it!

Pixel Fold review: The first foldable that actually feels like a tablet

Google takes foldable software to the next level, and it makes a big difference.

StickBugged,

@arstechnica It'd be worth it for about 1000 USD less. Even then it's a bit expensive.

Pixel art of an ethereal dance of nautical warfare unfurls in the heart of a turbulent sea. The canvas is alive with pirate galleons, their menacing silhouettes etched sharply against the inky abyss of the night. Each ship is a leviathan of the deep, their towering masts and billowing sails caught in the throes of a tempestuous ballet. An iridescent palette of blue and cyan breathes life into the scene, capturing the raw, primal beauty of the ocean in tumult. Each cresting wave, each swirl of the tide, is a testament to the artistry of fantasy, a tribute to the power of imagination. The image is a symphony of colour and chaos, a poetic testament to the uncharted realms of fantasy and the thrilling spectacle of naval warfare.

StickBugged,

@lashman that looks absolutely sick! Especially with the CRT filter!

2 please:
Is there any difference between and ?
Also, was there not an alternative to already? Boat? (or something like that)?

StickBugged,

@tedel there's not really that big of a difference between kbin and Lemmy, they both work pretty much identically, but I personally prefer kbin since the UI is really good.

StickBugged,

@tedel you're right, they are two separate things, but since they both are part of the fediverse you can interact with Lemmy from kbin and vice versa. I'm not really sure how all of that works under the hood, but afaik it doesn't really matter which one you sign up on
