@Strandjunker Full disclosure- I’m a liberal gun owner who finds Uvalde and all others sickening.Adding some context: Each one of the LEOs on the scene were wearing plates designed to defeat a .223/5.56 AR round, some also had shields, so IMO each officer is a disgraced fucking coward for not rushing and killing the shooter. Yes, the AR 15 is extremely powerful at close range but I don’t think it’s helpful to mythologize it
