An anti-Israel student group at Law School sent a threatening email on Friday telling students that they will be neither "safe" nor "free" until "everyone is safe" and "Palestine is free."

The National Lawyers Guild chapter that defended attack, put out a statement condemning school for calling in to clear out occupied building.

The statement told that they are not safe & accused Jewish students who oppose divestment of threatening everyone's safety.

"To the students, faculty, & trustees blocking divestment and urging the violent crackdowns on campus: you threaten everyone's safety. Our safety cannot be predicated on the oppression of others, whether campus protestors or Palestinians," the statement added.

The warning to at was attributed to "the Jewish members" of the National Lawyers Guild chapter.

While no students publicly signed their names on the letter, the group's organizing committee took credit.

Yes, there are some who advocate mandatory military and/or civic service in order to help address our fractured, hyper partisanship… and I absolutely agree. IMO, our educational system must also start teaching civics & critical thinking skills again, as well add education on diss/misinformation to curriculums… collaberation & cooperative skills wouldn’t hurt either.

Well, I got my first white supremacist reply from the fediverse after posting an article about Elon from Flipboard.

I reported and blocked the account. I also looked at the instance admin's account and it's clear he's also a white supremacist. So that instance will be blocked on flipboard.com and flipboard.social as well as shared with other instance admins as a problematic instance for them to take action if they also deem appropriate. Took all of 2 minutes to help make the fediverse a bit better for everyone.

And the best thing is that anyone in the fediverse can do this too. Decentralized moderation FTW.
