This morning I discovered that deer do, in fact, eat gladioli. The fact that my blooms have gone unmolested for the past 3 seasons did not save them from being eaten this year.
If the #gardening#gods are kind to me, the lettuce seedlings will easily transplant to the raised #garden bed when they're big enough to go outside.
I'm a ham-handed #gardener, & when I transplant delicate seedlings I often dislodge so much soil that the tiny roots become exposed. So these open-ended cardboard rolls should hold long enough to simply place in the soil, as is, & let #nature do its thing!

God DAMN, people can be so fucked up. I post a beautiful reflective inner peace meditation and get a rant, in reply, about fighting Nazis. I mean, yes, but… THAT’s where your mind went?!
The best part of the above is that I paid via touchless tapping and chose “no paper receipt” so at least I have no idea of how much I just got ripped off.
Our lime tree, which has been dormant (blossoms but no fruit) for THREE YEARS has just come widdit and I am watching with utter delight as no fewer than TWLEVE limes are growing this year!
