You know what fucks me up? The fact that several different #Fediverse platforms can seemingly talk to each other seamlessly, even the ones that seemingly were not even meant to talk to each other. Stuff on #mastodon is visible here on #kbin. My account from a #Lemmy instance can see my other account on #CalcKey. There's several different "not-Twitter" services each with their own interfaces and instances, and they all chat with each other. I can feel my brain expanding as I learn all of this.

When you listen to The Verge's podcast and they're legitimately saying Mastodon is a "no girls allowed" club? And we don't want Facebook here because Instagram will bring women here?!
What the fuck is wrong with these American tech pundits? Mastodon is the gayest, transest, most feminine social network I've ever seen. There are so many more outspoken, smart, odd, and downright weird women here than I've ever seen on any other social network. It's fucking great.
Great thing #calckey does with boosts/retoots: mentions the timestamp of both the original post and the boost, unlike Mastodon that only shows the post timestamp.
So I made the decision to migrate accounts after settling on a name I felt more comfortable with and lost my of my followers in the process, if you see this would you be able to give me a follow again or at least give this a boost?
