There's a lot going on around the #Fediverse here lately with regards to block lists, admins fighting back and forth, instances blocking/defederating from each other and more.
If you're on an instance that is involved in this stuff, and it's not something you enjoy or want to be a part of, always remember you can move to another instance.
Do your research, see what instance will work for you and the things you need or want from an instance, and make the move.
To add a bit more to this, if you're being harassed or something similar and your instance admins/moderators aren't responding in the way that you feel they should be, then that could be another reason to find another instance that works better for you.
Nobody needs to be harassed or deal with toxicity, drama, or anything similar if they choose not to. You always have options of other instances and it's a very easy process to switch!

As the name might already suggest, it's a more general-purpose iceshrimp instance.
We are trying to offer a home for everyone who wants to check out iceshrimp but doesn't fit or feel comfortable in one of the more specific instances.
Iceshrimp is a very young fork of firefish, which itself is a fork of misskey.
It's maintained mainly by April and Laura/Zotan and adds some fixes, features & improvements :iceshrimp:

Regarding the auto-delete:
How does this work for replies? If I respond to someone, and my response matches the 'don't delete rules, will that also apply to subsequent responses in that same conversation? Or would I need to favorite each post in a conversation if I want to hold onto that particular conversation?

Because I wanted some experience with Docker so I have something familiar for playing with AWS Fargate (my next learning project), I set up a PeerTube instance (Fediverse application), https://my-sunshine.video using Peertube Docker containers.
I'm just now, a few moments ago, starting to play with it to see how I can follow and connect with Peertube, Mastodon, and Calckey users. This also means I hope there are no problems with it. It hasn't had much "shaking out" yet. I really don't know much about it yet.
If you're interested in playing with Peertube, or just interested in an alternative to YouTube, feel free to sign up. It will also help me test it.
Signups need to be approved to avoid the abuse that would come with a wide open registration. Just let me know in the request that you're coming from Mastodon and what your Mastodon handle is.
BTW, with Peertube you can directly import your videos from YouTube and, it says, you can share your YouTube channel in Peertube.
The server uses the Cloudflare CDN and videos are stored in Wasabi S3. If you're not in the U.S., I'd especially like to know how the performance is when playing videos.
And even better, it would be wonderful if you actually found it useful :)
