Another record from my "Childhood Musical Garden of Strip Club 45s" was this AMAZING cover of Richie Valens' "La Bamba". This was also the early band of accordionist-par-excellence Esteban Jordan, affectionately known as the "Jimi Hendrix of the accordion." Sadly, there's no accordion on this track, but what IS here is the most ass-kicking-est "La Bamba" ever. How is this not on a Tarantino soundtrack?

@dannotdaniel Oh man, I'm a bit jealous! They used to play at a club in Phoenix called The Id (which was where my dad got to know them) and the club owner funded the first pressing of the single. This was the one I used to own. It currently sells for around $125 on Discogs.
