it's a bit frustrating to have to redo a bunch of work, now that's we're implementing tangara's UI in Lua. i think it's gonna be worth it though; it's slightly outrageous how many problems this approach solves

The completed #Halloween costume: a Tech-Priest Enginseer from #warhammer #40k. This is almost entirely scratch-made, with only the original skull and the (carefully hidden) strapping being store-bought. A multimedia cosplay that represents about a month of design and fabrication.

The targeting laser is 3D printed PLA with a clear refractive TPU lens. The capacitors along the back are 3D printed. It is attached to the backpack with 3D printed parts. The rest of the adornments are made from 6mm and 10mm EVA foam.

At my work, I wrote #KiMesh, a security mesh generator plugin for #KiCad. A security mesh is a set of labyrinth-like traces covering an area on a #PCB to detect someone drilling or sawing through it. I'm happy to report, that you can now install KiMesh on KiCad nightly through the built-in plugin manager.

A lot of people sure are doing a lot of emotional harm because they don’t understand how blocking works in mastodon. Even technical people you’d expect to know better.

So I can only assume it’s deliberate to justify their feelings of self-righteous outrage and further polarisation.

Disappointing.
